BETTY A. WAGNER
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 88, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born March 6, 1920 in Indianapolis, IN; daughter of Otto and Emma (Berg) Burgermeister. On January 12, 1946, Betty married Charles “Bud” Wagner in Milwaukee, WI. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1999. Betty is survived by:
Daughter: Mary Wagner of West Allis, WI
Grandson: Todd (Ann) Wagner of Wild Rose, WI
Great-Granddaughter: Trisha Wagner of Wild Rose, WI
Sisters-in-law: Lee Baldwin of Stevens Point, WI
Edna Olson of Milwaukee, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Emma Burgermeister, husband, Charles “Bud” Wagner, and her son, Louis Wagner. A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Jim Frank will officiate. A visitation will be held from 11:00 – 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. A special thank-you to all of our family and friends for their prayers and thoughts with our family. We would like to thank Nancy Nelson, the best caregiver; Dr. Robert Peterson and his staff for all of their care given throughout the years; ThedaCare at Home Hospice; and to all of the “angels” at Bethany Home.
