Beulah E. Reader's Obituary
Beulah E. Reader, age 94, of Almond, WI, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Gunderson Hospital in LaCrosse,WI. Beulah was born in the Town of Rose, Waushara County, on August 13, 1914, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Anselm) Scheicher. On October 18, 1939, Beulah married Wayne Reader in Almond and he preceded her in death on January 16, 1979. Beulah attended Almond High School and graduated from Central State Teachers College in Stevens Point receiving her degree in teaching. She taught Elementary school in Edgerton and Almond. She also worked at the local Drug Store in Almond. She was a member of Stevens Point Area Retired Teachers Association and the National Association of Federal Employees. She is a member of Almond United Methodist Church. Beulah is survived by her son: Roger (Nancy) Reader, Onalaska, WI; her grandchildren: Ryan (Heather) Reader, Black Earth, WI and Jason (Jessica) Reader, Eden Prairie, MN and her 5 Great Grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 2 at 3 PM at United Methodist Church, Almond with Reverend David Leistra, officiating. Interment will be in the East German Methodist Cemetery, Almond. Visitation will be on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 PM at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Almond United Methodist Church. Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond is assisting the family with arrangements.
