Beverly Jansen's Obituary
BEVERLY A. JANSEN
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN Age 76, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2009 at Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 8, 1932 in the Town of Springwater, WI; daughter of Russell and Alice (Rait) Straw. On October 24, 1953, Beverly married Delwin L. Jansen at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Wild Rose. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1998. Beverly was a 5-time cancer survivor and an inspiration to many other cancer survivors. She enjoyed life and loved helping others, and her times spent on Round Lake she cherished. But most of all, Beverly loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed! Also loved and adored by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Alice Straw; her husband, Delwin Jansen; and her sister and brother-in-law, Donna (Fay) Wilson. A Funeral Service will be on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wild Rose, WI. Reverend Dale Bahls will officiate. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI and also from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church on Monday. Burial will be at Howes Corner Cemetery in the Town of Mt. Morris. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital and to their Women’s Auxiliary.
