Bill J. Thorne, age 48, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Friday, April 10th, 2009 at Garden Park House in Waupaca. He was born in Milwaukee, WI., on December 7, 1960, a son of the late Donald and Janet (Bosacki) Thorne. Survivors include Sisters & Brothers: Linda (Gerald Crawford) Smith, West Allis, WI; Mike (Cheryl) Thorne, Grand Marsh, WI; John (Barb) Thorne, Ogdensburg, WI; Mary Thorne, Sheboygan, WI; Judy Thorne, Milwaukee, WI; Lisa (Stanley) Mocnik, New Berlin, WI; Jeanne Martinez, Rhinelander, WI; Danile (Randy) Homolka, Wausau, WI; Maureen (Todd) Niedermeyer, Franklin, WI; Thomas (Lonnie) Thorne, Greenville, WI; Janet (Darold) Paisar, Leopolis, WI. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jane Thorne. There will be a visitation held on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 4 - 6 PM at he Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with a brief Memorial Service to follow. The Thorne family extends special gratitude to friends, Human Services and staff at Garden Park House who were like Bill's second family.
