Borden A. Kriese's Obituary
Borden Kriese, 95, passed away November 28th, 2015 at Bethany Nursing Home in Waupaca WI. He was born in the town of Weyauwega, August 24th, 1920 to the late Arthur and Alice (Guyant) Kriese. On June 4th, 1944 he married Maurine Penney at Trinity Lutheran Church.
He attended St Peters Lutheran School and farmed with his father until 1946. From 1946 to August 1959 he worked as a salesman for Reek Motor Company. After leaving Reek Motor, they purchased the Ford Agency in Manawa and lived there until he retired in 1984. After retiring, they spent several winters in Mesa, Arizona before moving to Waupaca.
Borden is survived by his wife, Maurine of Waupaca, two sons, Robert Kriese of Waupaca, William (Toni) Kriese of Stevens Point, Grandchildren, Daniel (Amanda) Kriese of Tomahawk and Kimberly Kriese of Fredonia, a Great Grandson, Asher Kriese, and his sister Lola Hartfiel of Weyauwega.
Funeral Services will be held at Bethany Home Chapel in Waupaca, at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Thursday, December 3rd, 2015, with Reverend Bryan Robertson, officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at Bethany Home Chapel.
