Bruce L. Borgen's Obituary
Bruce L. Borgen - age 65 of Marinette, WI - passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born on March 24, 1949 in Phillips, WI, the son of Leonard and Helen (Robinson) Borgen. He married Pauline Kaldenberg on September 3, 1977 in Spring Green, WI.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Pauline, his daughter: Amanda (Jeff) Fuls and their son: Zachary Fuls of Mosinee, his son: Leonard (Katrina) Borgen and their son: Hans Borgen of Bloomer, twin sister: Eileen (Dell) Max of Crandon, sisters: Rosie (John) Slack of Park Falls, and Beth Hudson of Arizona, and his brother: Russell (Jenny) Borgen of Racine. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard Borgen and Helen Borgen Sommers.
Bruce had served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He had been employed at the paper mill in Park Falls, WI for 27 years. He had been a member of the American Legion in Fifield, WI for a number of years. Bruce had a number of interests including fishing, hunting, doing puzzles, watching TV, and woodworking. He was also an avid reader.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Park Falls, WI with the Rev. John Lindt, Pastor - Bethel Mission Covenant Church in Wallace, MI, officiating. Military Honors will be observed following the memorial service. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in memory of Bruce L. Borgen. The Holly funeral home of Waupaca, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
