Carl John Stayton's Obituary
Carl J. Stayton, age 90 of Wild Rose, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his residence. Carl was born on May 8, 1924 to the late Ernest and Laura (Stumpner) Stayton in Loyal, WI. Carl joined the U.S. Navy on December 13, 1942 in Great Lakes, IL and was honorably discharged on January 26, 1946. He married Ardys Wudtke on May 16, 1948 in Cecil, WI. Carl retired from Miller Brewery after 38 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and crafts.
Carl is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Carol Ann) Stayton, Washington Island, WI; Grandchild, Samantha (Tim) Ervin of Green Bay, WI; Great-Grandchildren, Carsen and Logan Ervin; Sisters, Luella
Fink of Waupun, WI, Nancy Billmeyer of Appleton, WI; also many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Parents; Beloved Wife; Son, Randal; Grandchild, Zachary; Brother, Robert and sisters, Alvira Olson, and Marge Pickett.
Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 24th at Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until time of services at Holly Funeral Home. Military Honors will be held after the service. Burial will be held at a later date at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI.
