Carol A. Picard's Obituary
Carol A. Picard, age 70, of Waupaca, WI, passed away suddenly Friday, July 10, 2009 at Riverside Medical Center. Carol was born in Green Bay, WI on May 7, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Ann Vander Wegen. On July 29, 1972, Carol married John W. Picard at the Main Chapel in King and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2000. Carol, worked as a Nurse's Aide for many years. She loved camping, snowmobiling and playing cards with her family. Shopping was special, especially in her little Red Car. Carol is survived by her children: Mae Lou (Daniel) McCourt, Waupaca, WI; Cindi Picard, Waupaca, WI and Norann (Rick) Woodliff; 7 Grandchildren, one Great Granddaughter and her sister: Shirley Champeau, Green Bay, WI. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, John and a special brother in law, Erv. Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 13 at 1 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Pastor Jeff Fletcher, officiating. Burial will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Farmington. Visitation will be on Monday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
