Carol J. Paur's Obituary
Carol J. Paur, age 72, died suddenly on Monday, March 13, 2017. Carol’s joys in life were embroidery, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her husband and family. Carols greatest talent in life was bringing joy to everyone who she encountered. She was born July 9, 1944 to Lorraine and Florian (Smokey) Milewski. Carol graduated from DePadua High School in Ashland, and married Lester J.Gurske with whom she had three wonderful children. After moving to Racine, Carol remarried Randy Paur on October 11, 1988 with whom she remained married to until her death.
Carol is survived by her husband, Randy Paur, three children, Shirley (Scott) Londre of Black River Falls, WI, Donald (Lisa) Gurske of High Springs, FL, and Kim (Dan) Grinder of Janesville, WI and grandchildren, Michael Gurske, Jeremy Londre, Adam Gurske, Violet Grinder, and Izaak Grinder and great-grandson Kyle. She is also survived by her Mother, Lorraine Johnson and sisters, Alyce Knueppel and Barbara Erickson. She is preceded in death by her father, Florian (Smokey) Milewski, step-father Melvin T. Johnson and sister Darlene Sicilia.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 20 at 11am at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday from 4pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
