Carol M. Stumke's Obituary
Carol M. Stumke, age 88, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose. She was born in Wild Rose, WI, on June 6, 1929, the daughter of the late Norman and Blanche (Arveson) Olson.
Carol graduated from Wautoma High School. She married Paul Stumke on February 4, 1970 in Las Vegas, NV. He preceded her in death on September 22, 1976.
She was a life member of Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church, Wautoma, where she was baptized and confirmed. Carol had worked at Kiekhaefer Box Factory for 14 years, she also worked at Realist in Berlin and had been a part time school bus driver in Wild Rose. Carol's hobbies included going on numerous trips, crocheting and studying genealogy. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her Daughters: Betty (Wayne) Eckert, Markesan, WI; Bonnie (Reed) Patti, Wild Rose, WI; Grandchildren: Shelly (Geoff) Williams, New London, WI and Holly Hanson, Weyauwega, WI; Great Grandchildren: Wyatt Hanson; Marissa Hanson; Spencer Williams and Bonnie Williams; Step-Children: Allen Stumke (Susie), Waupaca, WI and Elaine Hansen, Waupaca, WI. She is further survived by step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Paul Stumke, Grandson - Tyler Bradley, grandson-in-law - Troy Hanson and her brother - Harold Olson.
Funeral Services will be held at Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church, Wautoma at 1 PM on Saturday, August 26th, 2017, with Reverend Barb Girod, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Morris Holden Cemetery, Town Mt. Morris, Waushara Co, WI. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 11 AM until the time of the service at the church.
