CASIMER “CASEY” F. KUZNIEWSKI
KING, WI (Formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, WI) Age 92 - died on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born on January 30, 1914 in Necedah, WI, a son of the late Peter and Victoria (Haberski) Kuzniewski. He married Catherine A. Burmeister on February 4, 1935 in Park Falls, WI. Casey is survived by his wife and best friend of 72 years: Catherine, a son: Paul (Marianne) Kuzniewski of Greenville, WI, two grandchildren: Lynn (Jim) Hessler of Hartland, WI, and Susan (Allan) Pascutti of Franklin, WI, four great grandchildren: Katie Hessler, Andy Hessler, Tom Pascutti, and Mark Pascutti, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and step-great great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers: Sylvester (Audrey) Kuzniewski of Milwaukee, WI, and Theodore Kuzniewski of Milwaukee, WI. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-grandson: Kevin Mackesy, two sisters, four brothers, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. Casey had worked for the Biron Division of the former Consolidated Paper Company in Wisconsin Rapids for 30 years, retiring as a Maintenance Superintendent. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WW II. He had been very active in the Catholic Church, and was a 4th degree K of C. He and Catherine moved to the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King in January of 2002. A funeral mass will be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home – Main Chapel on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Father Andrew Karoblis, officiating. Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King, WI. Friends may call at the Main Chapel at King, WI on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of MacArthur Hall third floor for the loving care given to Casey, and for the comfort given to the family of Casey.
