Catherine Vaux's Obituary
Catherine Vaux, age 98, of Waupaca, passed away on Monday, January 21st, 2008 at Iola Living Assistance, Iola. She was born in the Ukraine on December 19, 1909, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Paul. Catherine married James J. Vaux on October 28, 1933. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1986. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community in Waupaca. Survivors include a Daughter: Patricia Vaux, Waupaca, WI; a Son: James Vaux, Wisconsin Veterans Home, King; Grandchildren: Gretchen Halverson, Waupaca, WI; Jennifer Reimann, St. Michael, MN; Great Grandchildren: Danielle Akright, Waupaca, WI; Alexandra Murphy, Waupaca, WI; Jacob Reimann, St. Michael, MN; Sisters: Marion Weaver, Dowagiac, MI; Eleanor Kraak, Wilmington, DE. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James, three sisters, Anne Lewis, Rose Coray and Nettie Slowik. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community in Waupaca at 11 A.M. on Thursday, January 24th, 2008, with Father Brian Belongia officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery, Waupaca. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
