Cory,
The mailroon at Public Safety in St. Paul just found out about Cathy yesterday. We were so shocked. The last time I spoke to Cathy she said she was doing better and was going back to work. I know this must be awful for your family. We all loved Cathy too and have missed her wonderful sense of humor and yours as well. We still have mail to open if you have some spare time.... Everyone here is saying a prayer for Cathy and your family. I'm sorry I wasn't there to support her. She was really trying to keep this from us and I wish she would have let us be there for her. I will never forget our friendship, it changed my life. Please let me know if there is anything we can do for you. Love,

Dear Kramer Family, My name is Kim Smith and I am the daughter of the late Tom Bodenheimer, Sr. I was unable to attend the wake today with my Mother and Brother, but wanted to let you know that we share in your grief the loss of Cathy. I never met her, but the card and letter she sent to our family regarding our Dad was precious. We received many letters and cards of condolences, but hers stood out amongst the rest. She managed to see who Dad was without even really knowing him and that meant the world to us. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We miss our Dad every day and I am sure you will do the same with Cathy. However, the suffering that cancer causes to your loved one, somehow makes it easier to let go. They do live on in each of us.
