Cecil Richtmyre's Obituary
Cecil A. Richtmyre, Sr., age 77, of Bancroft, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, June 16th, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Bancroft, WI on May 10, 1928, the son of Harry and Viola (Nigh) Richtmyre. Cecil married Virginia Zielinski on December 27, 1947 in Almond, WI. She preceded him in death on June 6, 1998. Mr. Richtmyre owned a service station in Racine, bar in Bancroft, and was a school bus driver for Almond-Bancroft School District. He also delivered the Stevens Point Journal for many years during his retirement. He is survived by Daughter: Ida (Tom) Bauer, Temecula, CA; Sons: Les (Kathy) Richtmyre, Bancroft, WI; Cecil (Dawn) Richtmyre, Jr., Bancroft, WI; Todd (Brynn Anderson, Fiancée) Richtmyre, Bancroft, WI; Ten Grandchildren; Three Step grandchildren; Eight Great grandchildren; Two Step-great grandchild; Brothers: Ernie (Virginia) Richtmyre, Vancouver, WA; Jay (Pat) Richtmyre, Lavina, MT and a sister: Betty (Harold) Christman of Minoqua, WI. Cecil is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia and two sisters; Charlotte Richtmyre and Tillie Skilling. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, June 20, 2005 at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond. A private family service and interment of cremains will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Town Pine Grove, at a later date.
