CECIL B. “CB” SMITH, JR WAUPACA, WI Age 64 - passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at his residence. He was born on December 26, 1941 in Concord, NC, a son of Rev. Cecil B. and Clara (Black) Smith, Sr. CB is survived by a daughter: Kelly Ross of Biloxi, MS, a son: David G. Smith of Biloxi, MS, five grandchildren, his parents: Rev. Cecil B. and Clara Smith, Sr. of Eden, NC, three sisters: Elizabeth (Larry) Roberson of Eden, NC, Janice (Paul) Perdue of Eden, NC, and Charlotte Efrid of Asheville, NC, a brother: Phillip (Judy) Smith of Forest City, NC, a special friend: Betty Chapman of Waupaca, WI, and his close companion: Lucy Puppy. CB had served two tours of duty in the Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He served from 1961 – 1969 and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He had worked for a number of years as a salesman for a home improvement business. He loved gardening. He enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed working with computers. He had lived in the Waupaca area about six years. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Eden, NC. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with local arrangements.
