Chad R. Reimer's Obituary
Chad R. Reimer, age 38, of Waupaca, WI, passed away unexpectedly as the result of an automobile accident on Sunday, July 19, 2020 in Manawa, WI. He was born April 10, 1982 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI; son of David and Amy (Herman) Reimer. In his younger years, Chad was into turtles and had actually caught a baby mud turtle and brought it home to keep as a pet. He had this turtle, named Michelangelo, for close to 15 years before he let go back into the wild. Chad was an avid sports fan and his favorite football team was the Minnesota Vikings. He also enjoyed fishing with his daughter, Lilli, in her younger years. But, most of all, Chad idolized his daughter and loved spending as much time possible with her. He will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Chad is survived by his daughter, Lillianna Smith of Oshkosh, WI; his father, David (Cathy) Reimer of New London, WI; his mother, Amy (Jim) Brennand of Omro, WI; one brother, Timothy Reimer of Springfield, OR; one sister, Cathi (Ward) Balcerzak of Oshkosh, WI; a nephew, Daniel Reimer of Springfield, OR; his maternal grandmother, Hazel Herman of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and also aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fred and Ellen Reimer, and his maternal grandfather, Emil Herman.
A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
