Charles F. Bell's Obituary
Charles Franklin Bell age 73, of Wild Rose, WI, left this world to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Thedacare Medical Center in Wild Rose, WI after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born on July 28, 1948 in Dodgeville, WI, son of Edwin and Natalie (Gable) Bell. Charles was a graduate of Dodgeville High School class of 1966, and retired from Century Tel of Wild Rose. He loved camping and the outdoors and was earlier a Scout Master. Charles passion was the fire service. First serving as a firefighter and later he became the Fire Chief of the Wild Rose Fire Department from 1990 to 1996. He remained active with the department until September 27, 2004, when he accepted his letter to become a life member. Charles was a dedicated member of his community and served as a member of Wild Rose Lions Club.
Charles is survived by his sister, Laura (Ike) Clarkson; niece, Ginger (Eric) Thomas; nephews, Chip (Rita) Pritchard and Bryon Wilson; great niece, Teagan Wilson and many other family members and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Pritchard.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 11:00 am at Holly Funeral Home 630 County Road G&H Wild Rose, WI 54984 with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Wild Rose Union Cemetery in Wild Rose, WI. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI and again on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of services at the funeral home.
