Charles Buehler's Obituary
Charles Buehler, age 82, of Pine River, WI, passed away Wednesday, September 21st, 2005 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born in Milwaukee on November 21, 1922, the son of Ernst and Rose (Beidelstein) Buehler. Charlie honorably served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during WWII where he earned seven Bronze Stars. He married Karen Gilligan on June 26, 1976 in Pine River. Charlie was a Christmas tree grower in Waushara County for nearly fifty years. He is survived by Wife: Karen J. Buehler, Pine River, WI; Children: Carl (Lynn) Buehler, Plantation, FL; Nora (Richard Klopotek) Bebee, Brookfield, WI; Hans (Barb) Buehler, Oconomowoc, WI; Paula (Rick) Peterson, Lexington, SC; Grandchildren: Justin and Andrea Buehler; Heidi Benz; Kurt (Becky) Hedderich and Katrina Hedderich; Ronnie, Rhiannon and Charlie Buehler; Gabrielle and Danielle Peterson and one great grandchild. Charlie is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers and sisters, and Eleanor Buehler. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville with Reverend Robert Hanson officiating. Interment will be in Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
