Charles "Chuck" Pufahl's Obituary
Charles J. (Chuck) Pufahl, age 77, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Theda Care Medical Center-Waupaca. Chuck was born in Waupaca on April 24, 1941, the son of the late John and Vanetta (Minton) Pufahl. On March 25, 1969, Chuck married Fanchon "Kitty" Katz in Waukegan, IL. Chuck was a livestock dealer for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, playing cards, trap shooting and playing pool. He especially loved walleye fishing in the spring, Mississippi Bullhead fishing and sturgeon spearing, where he finally got his 130 lb sturgeon. Chuck is survived by his wife: Kitty Pufahl, Waupaca; his daughter: Kristy Wenich, Lebanon, PA; his grandchildren: Cydney (Poopsie) Pufahl, Oshkosh and J.C. Colbert, Waupaca and his sister: Patricia Montaque, Huntington Beach, CA. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Tammy Jo Pufahl. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 25 at 2 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Visitation will be on Monday afternoon from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the funeral home.
