Charles K. Yager's Obituary
Charles K. Yager age 79 of King, passed away on Wednesday May 26, 2010 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Charles was born on May 28, 1930 the son of Joseph and Maude (Swim) Yager. Charles grew up in Hannibal, WI until 1947, when he joined the U.S. Army. Charles spent his last 28 years as a resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home.
Charles is survived by two sisters Mildred Connors, and Lorraine Hain; two brother’s Joseph F. Yager, and Homer T. (Brenda) Yager, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Maude Yager, two brothers Lloyd and Gerald Yager, and four sisters Joanne Shea, Ruth Sonnenberg, Frances “Tugs” Kevitt, and Delores Zaruba.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2010 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home Main Chapel in King at 1:30 p.m. Chaplain Rich Engle will officiate; burial will follow in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Main Chapel from 12:30 until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m.
