Charles Petersen's Obituary
Charles M. Petersen, age 59, of Scandinavia, WI, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2006 at his residence. Chuck was born in Waupaca on January 5, 1947, the son of the Axel and Leona (Olson) Petersen. He graduated from University of Minnesota with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He worked as a Co-operative auditor for 20 years before helping his parents on the family farm. He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. Chuck is survived by his mother: Leona D. Petersen of Scandinavia, Wi; his sister: Dorothy Bassett of Apple Valley, MN and his niece: Kelly Bassett of St. Paul, MN. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Axel. A Memorial Service will be at Holly Funeral Home at 11 AM on Friday, July 7, with Rev. Dr. Charles Tews officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Memorial visitation will be on Friday from 10:30 to 11 AM at the funeral home. A Memorial Fund has been established in Chuck's Memory.
