Charles J. Trzebiatowski's Obituary
Charles J. Trzebiatowski, age 80, of Amherst, WI, passed away after a long battle with Pancreatitis on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.
He was born at home on January 18, 1944, in Amherst, WI. Charles was the son of Tony and Cecelia (Korleski) Trzebiatowski. He grew up on the family farm with his siblings. He was 1962 graduate of Amherst High School.
On June 5, 1965, Chuck married Barbara (Bobbi) Schoegler, in Milwaukee. In March of 1966, they moved back to Amherst where together they raised their three children Kevin, Kim and Kelly. He worked various jobs before taking over the family farm in 1970 which he did for 28 years. While farming, Chuck also started working as a Mechanic in 1988 for WI Central Railroad. In 1998, they moved off the farm and built their forever home in Amherst. After retirement from the railroad, he and Bobbi were snowbirds in Texas and Arizona for 13 years. Chuck enjoyed fishing and tending to his vegetable garden. He adored spending time with his two granddaughters and was proud of their accomplishments.
Chuck is survived by his wife and their daughter Kelly (Dale) Bird of Amherst and his two granddaughters Lauren and Paige Bird. His siblings Barbara (Ken) Konkol, Tony (Tina) Trzebiatowski, Bonnie Patoka, Connie (Rick) Krusick, Pete (Judy) Trzebiatowski, Jayne (Steve) French, Lois (Jon) Ney, sister-in-law, Judy Fritch and numerous nieces, nephews.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Kim and his son Kevin, his sister Marilyn, three brothers-in-law, and two nephews.
A Funeral Mass for Chuck will be on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, WI. A visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00 — 11:00 am at the church. A private burial will take place at St. James Parish Cemetery in the spring.
