Charlotte L. Peterson's Obituary
Peterson, Charlotte Louise (born Seefeldt), 86, beloved wife of Wayland F. Peterson, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2014, surrounded by her family.
In her unassuming way, Charlotte was kind and caring to everyone. How could they fit so much love, liveliness, and humor in such a wonderful person? That is the sentiment expressed by everyone around her including her caregivers who only knew her these past few months, but most of all by her loving family. Most important roles in Charlotte’s life were as the devoted wife of Wayland, mother to Debra (Ralph), Jayne (Scott), Heidi (Jim) and Karin (Mark); grandmother to Alex, Katy (Jason), Andy, Charlotte, Peter, Allison, Clint (Alisha), and Bryan; great-grandmother to Ava, Eli, and Neala.
Charlotte was born in Milladore, WI on September 4, 1927. Graduating from Auburndale High School, she began working as a long distance telephone operator in Milwaukee where she met the love of her life on a blind date. Charlotte and Wayland were married on September 17, 1949. Charlotte worked in market research for close to 25 years.
Charlotte will be deeply missed and will remain, always, a bright light in our hearts. We love you, Mom – your dollies.
Charlotte is preceded in death by three brothers Bernard Seefeldt, Alvin Seefeldt Jr, Orville (Dick) Seefeldt, two sisters Florence Murphy and Ruth Richardson, and her parents, Alvin and Josephine Seefeldt of Milladore, WI. Other surviving family members are brother, Raymond Seefeldt, sisters Doris Wirth and MaryAnn Olson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
