Chester A. Zinda's Obituary
Chester A. Zinda age 83, of Stevens Point, passed away on Wednesday October 20, 2010. Chester was born on February 27, 1927 the son of Frank and Josephine (Kulinski) Zinda. Chester served in the U.S. Army in Hawaii during WWII. Chester married Theresa on November 23, 1950. Chester is survived by his wife Theresa Zinda, one son Chad (Nancy) Zinda of Plantation FL.; three daughters Christine Hubert of Stevens Point, Kathy (Dan) Elliott O’Neil of Fitchburg, WI, and Karen (Bob) Yip of Bell, CA.; four grandchildren Amy (Josh) Zinda Ooyman, Cheston (Lyne) Zinda, Tyson Elliott, and Jonathan Zinda; and five great grandchildren.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Josephine Zinda, four brothers and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Monday at 11 A.M., at the Main Chapel at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Sister Cathy Wottreng will officiate, burial will follow at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Main Chapel on Monday from 10:30 until the time of the service at 11 A.M.
