Chester Harzowski's Obituary
CHESTER C. HARZOWSKI
KING, WISCONSIN Age 86 passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born July 11, 1918 in Stevens Point, WI; son of Albert and Berta Harzowski. Chester never married. He served as a fireman in the U.S. Navy and entered the military in October 1943 in Chicago, IL and was discharged in February 1946 in Great Lakes, IL. He was a survivor of 50 men on his ship during Pearl Harbor. Chester is survived by:

Fred Firkus of Stevens Point, WI
Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Helen (Casmir) Firkus, and brother-in-law, John Przyborski. A Funeral Service will be on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Olson Hall Chapel-Wisconsin Veterans Home-King, WI. Father Paul Vanden Hogen will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the chapel. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Stevens Point, WI following the services.
