Chester Sankey's Obituary
Chester J. Sankey, age 68, of Amherst Jct., WI passed away peacefully on Thursday September 12, 2013 at Ministry Saint Michael's Hospital with his family by his side. Chet was born in Stevens Point on February 5, 1945, the son of the late Ambrose and Martha (Betro) Sankey. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and his hobbies were playing cards, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his children: Kevin Sankey; Jason Sankey; Cory (Lori) Sankey; Sarah (Tim Cisewski) ; Gloria (Richard) Newby and Sue Ann Herman; 18 Grandchildren; his sisters: Dorothy Groshek; Betty (Lynn) Thompson; Linda (Paul) Krusa and his brother: Greg (Jayne) Sankey. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose & Martha Sankey, a brother Mike, a sister, Geraldine Kurkowski and his ex-wife, Pat. By Chet's wishes, there will be no services.
