Christine V. Jorgenson's Obituary
Christine V. Jorgenson, age 72, of Waupaca passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Chris was born in Harrisburg, PA on August 7, 1939, the daughter of the late Howard and Agnes (Freidell) Collins. On February 11, 1978, Chris married the love of her life, Larry Jorgenson in Waupaca. She will be sadly missed by her husband: Larry (Scoop) Jorgenson, Waupaca; her children: Mike Hadley, Waupaca; Kenny Hadley, Waupaca; Greg Hadley, Waupaca; Stephanie Estrada, Waupaca and Cherie (Bruce) Goetsch, Weyauwega; her 14 grandchildren: Jaydin & Jasmine Hadley; Jeremy Hildabrandt; Daniel Hadley; Mary Jo Meyers; Nicole Pomerenke; Nina & Steven Hadley; Jessica, Garid & Alfredo Jr. Estrada; Bryce, Dacia & Austin Goetsch; her stepchildren: Randy (Renee) Jorgenson, Waupaca; Sandra (Chris) DeBaker, Waupaca and Wendy (Tom) Clappes, Waupaca; her mother-in-law: Viona Jorgenson, Waupaca. Also surviving are 15 great grandchildren, a brother Howard Collins, West Chester, PA and a sister Ellen Collins, Boston, MA. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandchildren, Tonja & Travis and her father-in-law, Earl Jorgenson. She loved her Packers, her many friends and her puppy, Gizmo. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, December 8 at 12 Noon at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Pastor Paul Stevens & Stan Engle, officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Chris's name. The family wishes to Thank Dr. Rathjen for all his kind words and Riverside Medical Center and their Staff for the wonderful care of their Mom.
