CLARENCE A. HOFFMAN
WILD ROSE, WI (FORMERLY OF BERLIN, WI) Age 86 – died on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Wild Rose Manor in Wild Rose, WI, where he had been a resident for 11 years. Prior to that he had lived with his daughter and son-in-law in Pine River, WI for a short time. He was born on March 9, 1919 in the Township of Shields, Marquette Co., WI, a son of the late Michael and Martha (Zeatlow) Hoffman. He married Sylvia M. Timm on April 16, 1948 in Auroraville, WI. She preceded him in death in August of 1991. Clarence was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Auroraville, WI. He had been an auto mechanic for many years at Kolpin’s Garage in Berlin, WI until his retirement. Clarence is survived by two daughters: Jeannette (Mark) Carpenter of Pine River, WI, and Cynthia Schneider of Wautoma, WI, a special grandson: Shawn Hoffman of Neshkoro, WI, two brothers: Harley Hoffman of Green Lake, WI, and Lester (Delores) Hoffman of Ripon, WI, three sisters: Verna Paul of Cambria, WI, Mildred Draeger of Marquette, WI, and Bernice (Robert) Sanders of Wrightstown, WI. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sylvia, his parents, five brothers, and a sister. A funeral service will held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Auroraville, WI on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at Noon with the Reverend Brian Beardsley, officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Auroraville, WI. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. The Holly Funeral Home of Poy Sippi, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
