CLARENCE HOVELSON
SCANDINAVIA, WISCONSIN Age 85, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Crystal River Nursing Home in Waupaca, WI. Clarence was born on the home farm on July 22, 1922 in Scandinavia, WI; son of John and Clara (Olson) Hovelson. He lived on the home farm his entire life where he enjoyed farming, hunting, visiting with family and friends, and telling stories. Clarence is survived by:
Sister: Belma Hickey of Waupaca, WI
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Emma Boutwell, and a brother, James Hovelson. A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Mark E. Sabin will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Farmington Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Farmington following the service on Tuesday.
