Clarence Sabrowsky's Obituary
Clarence Bronc K. Sabrowsky, age 90, of King, WI , passed away Saturday, January 27th, 2007 at Wisconsin Veterans Home. He was born in Shawano County, Wisconsin on December 3, 1916, the son of Willie and Selma (Hornig) Sabrowsky. Clarence graduated in 1936 from Little Wolf High School in Manawa. He then went on to graduate from the Wisconsin State Teacher College in Oshkosh in 1941 and from the Marquette University in Milwaukee in 1948 with a LL. B degree. Clarence went on to attain the rank of Lt. Colonel in the Army Reserve where he graduated from the Army Reserve Command and general staff College Associate course. He was trained in command leadership, principals of war, and logistics. He is survived by Siblings: Mildred Griffith, Appleton; Isabelle (Julian) Rowe, Scandinavia; Lester Sabrowsky, Warrenton, VA; Donald Sabrowsky, Hazzleton, PA; Marilyn Arneson, Appleton; Delores Quimby, Waupaca. Clarence is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lorna Sabrowsky. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home - Main Chapel with Chaplain Wayne Schwanke officiating.
