Claudia Drummond's Obituary
CLAUDIA G. DRUMMOND
WAUPACA, WI
FORMERLY OF JUNCTION CITY, WI Age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 18th 2008 at her home in Waupaca, WI. She was born June 3rd, 1958 in Ashland, WI; daughter of James and Doris (Kenyon) Dalbesio, II. Carpe Diem, Latin for seize the day; a quote not written but certainly made famous by Claudia Geralyn Drummond. If ever there was anyone in life that lived their motto to a T it was Claudia. There was never a day in her life she wouldn't seize and never an obstacle she couldn't overcome. Warm and pleasant, always greeting a stranger with a smile - she never had a coarse word for anyone. She always saw the good in life, even when personal trials and tribulations would cause others to waiver in doubt, she never questioned the goodness of humanity. She loved only one man, her soul mate James Drummond and they were joined eternally in holy matrimony on June 8th, 1985 in Stevens Point, WI. Like peanut butter has jelly and a pea to a pod, these two were inseparable for the last 27 years. She spent most of her life as a chef but if you asked her, her favorite job was being a mom. She loved her sons Tyler and Jordan with an unbelievable passion and could always find time during a hectic schedule to make for them. Not only would she seize every day - she also believed in, Paying it Forward. She was a strong believer that when someone received something positive in their life they should acknowledge it by making a miracle happen in someone else's. In her words, if you pay it forward ten-fold the world would be a better place. We are all better people for having experienced her presence if only for a brief moment. We can question why the lord chose to remove her from our lives earlier than we were prepared for but we can also find solace in knowing that she is in a better place anxiously awaiting her next opportunity to make us smile. Though she will live eternally in our memories we should remember the level at which she lived her brief 50 years. We can only hope to obtain as much a zest for life during our time on this earth as she had. Claudia is survived by:
