Clayton E. Knight's Obituary
Clayton E. Knight, age 96, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Bethany Home. Clayton was born in the Town of Farmington, Waupaca County on June 25, 1919, the son of the late Herman and Anna (Kolz) Knight. He worked at Gusmer Enterprises (Filter Materials) for many years.
On April 15, 1944, Clayton married Velma Smith in Waupaca and she preceded him in death on February 27, 1999. He is a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Clayton is survived by his children: Charlene (Stan) Siddall, Fenton, MI; Ken (Sherri) Knight, Sheridan; Ron (Marie) Knight, Scandinavia; Nancy (Mickey) Rice, Waupaca and Darryl (Sherry) Knight, Sheridan; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Velma and two brothers, Everett & Harold. The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, August 25 at 11 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Waupaca with Father Amalraj Roche, presiding. Burial will follow in the Barton Cemetery, Town of Farmington. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 10 AM until the time of mass at the church. Holly Funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements.
