Cleo B. Wimme's Obituary
Cleo B. Wimme, age 90, of Lake Nebagamon, WI formerly of Nelsonville passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN. Cleo was born in Phillips, WI on August 26, 1922, the daughter of the late Fred and Alta B. (May) Smith. On September 24, 1949 Cleo married John A. Wimme in Phillips, WI and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2009. She had been employed at Allis-Chalmers in Milwaukee and had been a member of Nelsonville Lutheran Church in Nelsonville. She is survived by her daughters: Judy (Tony) Canales, Pardeeville, WI; Joan Wimme, Lake Nebagamon, WI; her son: Lynn (Rocky) Wimme, Cass Lake, MN; her grandchildren: Chanin Riley; Jason (Katie) Riley; Tessa Antilla and Jessie Anderson; seven great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Cleo was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and a brother.
Private Family Memorial Services will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Chaplain Wayne Schwanke, officiating. Burial will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials are greatly appreciated to the Friends of Fred Smith, Normal Building, Room 217, 104 South Eyder Ave, Phillips, WI 54555.
