Conrad Scheuerman's Obituary
Conrad A. Scheuerman, 79, formerly of North Judson, IN went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2015 at the WI Veterans Home, King, WI. He and his wife, Anne, resided at King since 2008 enjoying a variety of activities scheduled for the 720 residents. Conrad was active on the Member Council and served as its president.
Conrad was born Oct 28, 1935 in Oshkosh, WI. He attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Oshkosh High School. After high school, Conrad attended one year at the WI State Technical College before entering the Marine Corps. Conrad was a Sgt in the Marine Corps and served on the USS Rochester and USS St. Paul.
On June 27, 1959 Conrad married V. Anne Zimmermann. She survives him along with their three children Pete (Karen), Ruth Scheuerman, and Mary (Dan) McGhiey, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and sister, Betty (Earl) Watkins. Conrad was preceded in death by a son, Paul and one grandson Daniel.
Starke County, IN will remember Conrad as the “Appliance and TV” man in North Judson and also as an active member at St. Peter Lutheran Church.
The 11:30 am memorial service will be held on August 1, 2015 in the historic chapel at the WI Veterans Home. Interment will follow at a later date at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Oshkosh, WI. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be sent to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 810 W Talmer, or the North Judson Park Board, 204 Keller Ave, both in North Judson, IN 46366.
