Crystal E. Strebe's Obituary
Crystal E. Strebe, age 85, of Waupaca passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Lakeview Manor where she had been a resident. Crystal was born in Waupaca on April 5, 1925, the daughter of the late Edsil and Ruby (Bucknell) Huntoon. On March 1, 1947, Crystal married Orville H. Strebe in Waupaca and he preceded her in death on February 28, 1989. She is survived by her daughter: Cheryl Strebe, Appleton; her sister: Lois Clarkson, Redmond, WA and her sisters-in-law: Alma Strebe and Ruby Huntoon both of Waupaca. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Edwin Huntoon, a sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Robert Anthony, and brothers-in-law, Robert Strebe and John Clarkson. Per Crystal's wishes, no funeral services will be held and a private family burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca at a later date. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. Crystal's family wishes to thank the staff of Lakeview Manor and ThedaCare Hospice for all their wonderful care.
