Daisy S. Konkol's Obituary
Daisy S. Konkol age 92, of Amherst passed away on Friday November 21, 2014. Daisy was born on May 15, 1922 the daughter of Vincent and Johanna (Lepinski) Lepak. Daisy married her first husband LeRoy Docka on February 14, 1942, and her second husband Bernard “Ben” Konkol on August 2, 1980.
Daisy is survived by her two sons Carl (Marge) Docka of Amherst, WI and Gary (Diane) Docka of Plover, WI; five grandchildren Jim (Danita) Docka, Donna (Kevin) Laughlan, Dean (Leann) Peterson, Dale (Melissa) Peterson, and Chuck Gruber; five great grandchildren Jamie Docka, Nicole Peterson, Jenna Laughlan, Josh Peterson, and Marian Gruber; one brother Melvin (Cate) Lepak, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Daisy was preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Johanna Lepak; her first husband LeRoy Docka; her second husband Bernard “Ben” Konkol; two sons Ronald and Patrick Docka; one grandson Steven Docka; one great grandson Steven Docka; four brothers; and six sisters.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday November 28, 2014 at 11 A.M. at the St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, WI. Father Jude Dioka will officiate, with burial follow at the St. Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday November 28, 2014 at the church from 9:30 – 11 A.M. The Jungers-Holly Funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements.
