Dale and Paula Shulfer's Obituary
Dale and Paula Shulfer, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 7, 2025 due to a tragic incident. They were beloved husband and wife who were 53 and 52 years old. While the circumstances of their deaths are heartbreaking, their lives and the impact they had on those around them are to be honored and remembered.
Dale was born on August 24, 1971; son of the late Leroy and Grace (Kaminski) Shulfer. Paula was born on July 13, 1972; daughter of Edward Jr. and Sandy (Loecher) Karch. They married on August 23, 2002. Together they farmed for many years. Paula also worked for Worzalla Publishing for many years and then went to St. Michael's Hospital in the call center. They will be remembered by their hard work, generosity, dedication and kind heart. They enjoyed deer hunting, snowmobiling, church picnics and being outdoors.
Dale and Paula shared a deep connection and enriched the lives of all who knew them. They are survived by their son Bryan Shulfer; grandchildren Ellie and Gunner; Dale's brothers Patrick Shulfer, David Shulfer and John Shulfer.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church - Fancher. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until time of Mass at the Church.
