Dale O. Kragh's Obituary
Dale O. Kragh, age 59, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Appleton Medical Center. Dale was born in Iola, WI on July 30, 1950, he was the son of Guy (Jack) and Lois M. (Shafer) Kragh. Dale worked for 31 years at Waupaca Foundry retiring in 2004. On September 13, 2003, Dale married Elizabeth (Bette) L. Slowinski. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, sports - especially football - time with his family, getting together with old friends and making new ones, projects such as crafts to building construction and fabrication, and gardening. Over the past few months, Dale has been building puzzles and matting them for his family. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church. Dale is survived by his wife: Elizabeth (Bette) L. Kragh, Waupaca; his mother, Lois Kragh, Waupaca; his children: Eric (Mandi) Kragh, Menomonee Falls, WI and Nathan Kragh, Waupaca; his step-children: Ted (Amy) Robbins, Waupaca; Troy (Heather) Rasmussen, Colorado Springs, CO; Trina (Shawn) Plante, Fort Richmond, Alaska; a granddaughter: Kinzli Rose Kragh; Step-Grandchildren: Chloe, Trinity, Autumn, Tacoma; William, Nia & Lauren. his sisters: Sue (Dave) Shaw; Bonnie (Steve) Pegel; Betty (Larry) Roth; Sara (Matt) Morrison; Linda (Paul) Welch and his brothers: Paul Kragh; Steve (Steph) Kragh. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Jack, a brother, Neal and a step-grandson, Cameron. Memorial Services will be on Saturday, October 17 at 11 AM at Shepherd of the Lakes Church in Waupaca with Reverend David Martin, officiating. Military graveside services will be at a later date in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the church.
