Del was a resident at Park Vista. Heartfelt condolences go out to his family. Del was simply a wonderful human being. He had a zest for life. He was always cheerful and enjoyed going for his daily walks around the grounds. Whenever we had musical entertainment Del would sing along to all the songs. He had a beautiful voice that could be heard above everyone elses. Del left a lasting impression upon everyone at Park Vista and he will never be forgotten.
We are so sorry for your loss. Del was a special man. We enjoyed having him as a neighbor living across from him on Spencer Lake Rd. He was always so friendlly and pleasant to be around. We miss him. "Pete" and Nancy Rasmussen
Del was a one of a kind guy! We were neighbors to Del and Peg for a number of years by Spencer lake! They were both always a joy to spend time with! Del always was so happy and jolly! I stopped by to see him this past January after he had broke his leg, but i was so surprised as it didn't even bother him, I had told him that i would come and get him someday and take him out for a ride. But then the virus came and put a halt to that! Im so sorry that I did not get to do that with him! I will miss him, but im sure he is also back with the love of his life Peg! My wife left me back in December, and i know she will be happy to see Del as well as she also thought of them as Great friends!
I played cards with Del at Park Vista when I worked there. He taught me how to play Gin Rummy. It was so much fun.
