Dan W. Morgan's Obituary
Dan W. Morgan age 68 of Almond passed away on Saturday January 30, 2010 at his residence. Dan was born on June 12, 1941 the son of Leonard “Peck” and Gertrude “Gerty” (Wiora) Morgan. Dan was an avid collector of numerous tools, machinery, automobiles, and farm equipment. Dan is survived by one sister Maureen “Pat” (Bernard) Schulke of Lanark; two brothers Joel Morgan of Belmont and Clifford (Sonia) Morgan of Almond; two aunts Phyllis Timm of Wautoma, and Esther Minskey of Wautoma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Gertrude Morgan, and one sister Phyllis Bartkowiak.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday February 4, 2010 at 11 A.M. at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond. Pastor John Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in the First Belmont Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday February 3, 2010 at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond from 5 Until 7 P.M. and again on Thursday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. The family would like to thank the Ministry Hospice group for all the care they provided for Dan. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
