Danny, Lee and Shirley are my cousins on my mothers side. We had some fun times as kids, but then life got in the way and we all lost touch. At Aunt Bernice's funeral, Danny and I had talked of getting together a day around Christmas so I could meet his kids and kick up some old times. When I didn't hear from him or Cindy, I thought maybe they forgot, or something changed as it does at Christmas, and I had been sick anyway. I had no idea he was in the fight for his life. I am so sorry for what he had to go through and that we missed that time together. I hear he loved Christmas and made it a wonderful time.
To the family, my most heartfelt sympathy..I love you all more than you know. I had a terrible bug or I would have been there with you. Danny was an amazing person, hard working and devoted to his family. He will live on in the hearts of all of us. Rest in Peace,
