DANIEL A. CARLSON, SR.
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 67 passed away on Monday, February 11, 2008 surrounded by his loving family at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. He was born October 31, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA; son of Franklin and Thordis (Dale) Carlson. Dan married Shirley Waller on October 21, 1967 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Dan was a lead service man for the Wisconsin Gas Company for 30 years. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Waupaca Fire Department for 27 years and served on the Waupaca City Council for many years. Dan is survived by:

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Thordis Carlson, step-father, Harvey Solie, son, Erik Carlson, and father-in-law, Donald Waller. A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 12:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. A visitation will be from 10:00 – 12:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home on Thursday. Burial of cremains will be in the spring at Farmington Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Farmington. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Dan’s name.
