DANIEL “DANNY” J. MACIJESKI
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN
Age 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at his home on Lake Kristine in Wild Rose, WI. He was born May 28, 1921 in the Town of Rose, WI; son of Phillip and Francis (Shmrovitz) Macijeski. On May 21, 1960, Danny married Bertha Lindner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Heffron. He was a dairy farmer in the Town of Rose for all of his life until his retirement in 1983. Later in life, Danny bagged groceries for Ron & Lloyd’s and Pick N’ Save grocery stores for close to ten years. He enjoyed polka music, traveling, and especially loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Danny will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and many friends.

Grandchildren: Joshua, Kimberly, and Christopher Macijeski

Jenna and Brianna Macijeski
Allison and Andrew Kaltenbrun
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Francis Macijeski; infant grandchildren; four brothers; and two sisters.
A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, located on Hwy 54 between Waupaca and Plover, in the Town of Buena Vista, WI. Father Ted Lewandowski will preside. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be in the spring at Hope Cemetery in the Town of Belmont. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
A special thank-you to Ministry Home Care Hospice of Stevens Point for all of their help and support to our family. The special care Danny received will never be forgotten.
