I heard of Dan’s reputation of excellence before I ever met him. When I did meet him I witnessed this first hand. When he talked, I listened and learned. He was a wealth of knowledge. As long as you didn’t present yourself an idiot he would share that knowledge unselfishly. He didn’t tolerate know it all’s or fools. He was wise enough to realize he could lean from others and never presented himself as a know it all. We practiced our tradecraft together and shared our knowledge. He made the people around him better and I for one am a better person for having know him. I will miss the camaraderie and friendship we shared. For those of you that were even closer I know this is a painful time. Dan, you and your family are in my prayers. You will be missed. Those you touched with your friendship are your legacy and you will forever live in our hearts and memories. Rest In Peace.
