Daniel J. Passarella Jr.'s Obituary
Daniel J. Passarella, Jr., age 51, of Almond, WI passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 after a short illness with cancer, surrounded by his family at Riverside Medical Center. Dan was born in Waupaca on May 25, 1961, the son of Daniel J. & Ursel (Kammann) Passarella. He had worked as a Supervisor at Waupaca Pallet. He loved art, antique collecting, inventing, boating, camping and spending time with his two sons. Dan is survived by his sons: Joey (Megan) Passarella, Waupaca and Daniel (DJ) (Sara) Passarella, Waupaca; his father: Daniel J. Passarella Sr., Almond; 2 sisters: Carmen (Mark) Rasmussen, Deerfield, WI and Jackie (David) Habighorst, Waupaca; 5 Grandchildren: Ethan, Caleb & Allie Passarella; Austin & Issacc Passarella; 2 Nephews: Alec Rasmussen & Benjamin Habighorst; his aunt & uncle: Joan & Larry Bluma, Waupaca and his cousins: Jeanne (Lawrence) Peskie & David Bluma. Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Ursel and a brother-in-law, Brian Thomas. The Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, August 8 at 11 AM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Bishop Matthew Mallek, officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Burgstede, Dr. Dent, Tracy Rice and the staff at RMC for their wonderful care and support.
