Daniel McDonald's Obituary
Daniel A. McDonald, age 56, of Waupaca, WI., formerly of Racine, WI., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 17th, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Racine on August 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Thomas and Frances (Dickert) McDonald. He married Ellen Duschak on July 28, 1979 in Wind Lake, WI. Dan enjoyed music, cooking and eating, pool, film and Brewers baseball Survivors include his Wife: Ellen McDonald, Waupaca, WI; Sons: Luke (Kelly Sanchez) McDonald, Milwaukee, WI; Ben (Jamie Hoerning) McDonald, Neenah, WI; Daughter: Megan (Mark Cahlamer) McDonald, Waupaca, WI; Best Dog in the World: Lucy McDonald; Brother: John (Liz) McDonald, Stevens Point, WI; Sisters: Jane McDonald, Minnesota; Ellen (Tony) Groh, Arizona. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister & brother-in-law, Linda (Don) Maday and a sister, Mary McDonald. Cremation will take place at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nature Conservancy.
