I was once told that I was a good fighter by one of my doctors. I said the hell with that - I want to be a good winner.
As I look back through my life, I see that I wanted to be a good winner. As I look through those things I believe that I won in many aspects of my life.
This is a critique of my life. I’ve gone out there and lived a life that other people should live. If you have pieces and parts of what I’ve lived - you’ll be half as lucky as I am.
First of all - a good family of origin - my core family - my mom and dad.
Then, I look at my life in the context of - have I won in life economically? I feel like I crushed that! I’ve done well enough to do what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it.
But that’s where most people stop.
I’ve had great friends. I look at my family that I have now - my new family - and I can’t believe the gifts I was given. Knocked that out of the park! This is the family you get- that’s pulled me in - over the top. This is the family you want and wish you could hold onto. This is the family you dream of and wish you could have.
And with that being said - I’ve lived the perfect life.
A person like me has many losses as well - and those losses are the lessons that have given me who I am now - and I’m not afraid. No regrets. Because if this is the outcome I have- these losses have given me - well - I wouldn’t ask for anymore. The understanding that I have.
So thank you everybody for being a part of my life - being part of my wins and my losses over the years.
