Darlene Carney's Obituary
Darlene R. Carney, age 55, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Saturday, May 31st, 2008 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born in Antigo, WI on May 16, 1953, the daughter of Herbert and Rosella (Resch) Zemke. Darlene married John Carney on December 1, 1973 in West Allis, WI. She will always be remembered for the love given to her family. Darlene especially treasured the time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her Husband: John Carney, Weyauwega, WI. Son: Jeremy (Rebecca Hait) Carney, Madison, WI; Daughter: Jennifer (Lynton) Hansen, Franksville, WI. Grandchildren: Callysta & Ethan Hansen, Franksville, WI. Mother Rosella Zemke, Waupaca, WI. Brothers: Duane (Collene) Zemke, West Milwaukee, WI; Michael (Cindy) Zemke, Waupaca, WI. Sisters: Peggy (Glenn) Daily, Dousman, WI; Barbara (Daniel) Rios, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Darlene was preceded in death by her father. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews officiating. Interment of cremains will be in Sheridan Village Cemetery, Town Farmington, Wisconsin. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 1 PM until the time of the service.
