DAROLD C. GUST
KING, WI Age 78 – died on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI. He was born on July 17, 1928 in Mosinee, WI, a son of the late Carl H. and Inez H. (Hotkkiss) Gust. He married Caroline Gauthier on March 31, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI. She preceded him in death on August 29, 1979. Darold is survived by three sons: David (Evelyn) Gust of Madison, WI, Herbert (Kathy) Gust of Milwaukee, WI, and Keith Gust of Spokane, WA, three daughters: Diane (Michael) Daley of Madison, WI, Mary Loomis of Black River Falls, WI, and Brenda Gust of Mauston, WI. He is further survived by 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Darold was preceded in death by his wife: Caroline, a son: Darold Gust, Jr., a grandson: Scott Gust, and his parents. Darold had served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He had been employed as a carpenter for many years. He had lived in the Townsend, WI area for about 25 years. He became a resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI in June of 2002. Funeral services will be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home – Main Chapel, on Monday, April 16, 2007 at 1:30 PM, with Chaplain Wayne Schwanke, officiating. Interment will be in the St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at the Main Chapel at King, WI on Monday from 12:30 – 1:30 PM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
