DARREL D. LAND
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Darrel Don Land, 74, Waupaca, WI, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, was called to Jesus’ side on May 7, 2007. Darrel died peacefully with his family by his side. Born November 27, 1932 in Clintonville, WI to the late Victor and Gladys (Johnston) Land. Darrel grew up in the Kaukauna, WI area, later moving to Neenah, WI. Raising his family and working most of his adult life at the Neenah Foundry, until he retired, later moving to Waupaca, WI. Darrel, an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Darrel, instilled his love of people and his zest for life in all who had the good fortune to make his acquaintance. He was a true “Packer” fan. Darrel is survived by:

Also survived by numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Victor and Gladys (Johnston) Land, wife, Adeline (Reitz) Land, sister, Donna (Land) Clifford, and a sister-in-law, Sandy Land. A celebration of his life will be on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 2:30 PM at the First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Bob Bohn will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will be at Spencer Lake Memorial Park in the Town of Lind at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would also like to say thank-you to the staff at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca and the staff in the CCU at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.
